East African-inspired brand Lalesso has unleashed a crop of flowy caftans, skirts and and other summer gear emblazoned with neon-hued tropical motifs. Love. It.
The tribal look is going to be huge in the coming season and we’re loving how neon colours are coming through, something that is also seen in global trend reports. The brand was created after designers Alice Heusser and Olivia Kennaway were inspired by a trip to Kenya and the stunning Khanga fabrics, which are still present in their current collection.
We see a variety of light easy to wear pieces great for the beach and out and about during the summer season, from loose maxi dresses and skirts, to well-cut bikinis, layered short dresses and turbans with beautiful accessories to complete the overall look. The collection brings a bold, edgy and striking range of clothes for 2012 definitely refreshing, yet with an African touch.

This is my faveourite collection so far….You can tell they pushed it to the limit, they even went to Cape Town, South Africa to do the look book! I love the soft structured dresses and the fact that its not common leso, I wonder is the neon green turban is up for sale!
