Chinua Achebe’s Chike And The River Gets Reissued

Chinua Achebe’s landmark 1958 debut, Things Fall Apart, made him famous, but the tome was only the beginning of an extensive, influential body of work. His 1966 children’s book Chike and the River is finally getting reissued in the U.S., decades after its original South African release. The book features illustrations by artist Edel Rodriguez, and will hit stores on August 9.
