Clan is a new line launched by the fashionable progeny of Nigerian designer Deola Sagoe. The trio of Sagoe sisters – Teni, Aba and Tiwa – are barely out of adolescence, but that’s not stopping them from following in their mother’s fashion-forward footsteps.

One Nigerian Boy caught up with the daughters, who broke down the concept of Clan:

What’s its main target audience and Aesthetic?

Teni: CLAN is meant to introduce high-street style to Lagos. There are lots of separates in the collection that can be styled to personal taste and preference. It is meant to appeal to free spirited young adults.

ONB: is CLAN its own independent label? Or is it under Deola Sagoe?

Teni : its an individual label under Deola Sagoe. Clan is Deola Sagoe’s little sister. Just as Miu Miu is Prada’s little sister
